1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes! We both love to travel and would be thrilled to capture your big day whether it is next door or on the other side of the country. For anything not local to Cincinnati, however, travel charges for transportation and accommodation may be added to the total amount due. Rates vary depending on location and means of travel that is needed.

2. what is due upon signing?

For weddings, upon mutual signing of the contract a nonrefundable deposit equal to 20% of the total package price is due to Doxa Photos. The remainder of the payment is due two weeks prior to the wedding date. For all other inquiries, payment is on the day-of the session.

3. can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes! We return your photos with a limited use license, meaning you able to print them and share them as much as you would like, so long as you do not make any changes to the images and give us credit. You can also order photos directly from Pixieset from the final gallery you receive!

5. What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes! Feel free to request specific photos or shots to be taken. We will do our best to accommodate said requests but know that not every request may make it into the final album.

7. Can we meet before the session?

For weddings, we always meet with our clients prior to the wedding day to go over a timeline and finalize things so we are all on the same page. This is either in person or digital depending on our proximity to you and scheduling. For all other sessions we do not do preliminary meetings. To streamline the process, please be sure to include any questions you may have in the initial inquiry.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our editing process for weddings typically takes 8-10 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
